Eddie Ray Moore

Eddie Ray Moore, 57, resident of Sikeston, Missouri died Monday, October 21, 2019 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.  He was born July 21, 1962 in Waco, Texas to the late Jimmie Lee Moore, Sr. and the late Pamelia Eckles.

He was a graduate of Sikeston High School in Sikeston, Missouri and later became a chef.  He was employed at several restaurants for over 20 years, until his health began to fail.

Eddie was a comedian and he loved to sing.  He also loved his family and his children.  Eddie will be sadly missed.

He is also preceded in death by one son, Aaron Chapman, and three brothers, James Oliver, Willie Moore and Jimmie Moore, Jr.

He is survived by three sons, Eddie Taylor, Rickey Taylor and Joshua Cole of Sikeston, Missouri, three daughters, Monica Taylor and Ibreanna Moore of Sikeston, Missouri and Emilee Taylor of Jonesburg, Arkansas, two brothers, Elder Rickey Moore of Sikeston, Missouri and Devin Davis of Waco, Texas, one sister, Carrie Moore of Sikeston, Missouri, four step daughters, MaeAnn Roger and Shapale Clark of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Stephanie Aldridge of Sikeston, Missouri and Jennifer Aldridge of Blytheville, Arkansas, 19 grandchildren,  and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Friday, November 1, 2019, from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston, Missouri.
