Edward Lee Graham, Sr.

March 20, 1960 — February 2, 2020

Edward Lee Graham, Sr., 59, resident of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, died February 2, 2020 in Marston, Missouri.  He was born March 20, 1960 in Hayti, Missouri to the late Clarence and Alberta Reed Graham.

Edward, affectionately known as "Abe" loved landscaping, helping others and listening to his favorite blues singer, Johnnie Taylor.  Abe enjoyed life to the fullest and loved having a good time with family and friends.  He also used his bright personality to make others laugh.

Abe had a personal relationship with God.  He walked on earth was with God and he is now at a place with no pain or suffering.  He has found everlasting life.

In addition his parents, he is also preceded in death by his step father, Ulisses Luster, one brother, Charles Graham, three sisters, Emma Terry, Charlene Fountain  and Celois Graham,  one infant daughter, Crystal Graham and special nieces, Tyra S. Boyd, Pearlice Squire and Alexis Johnson.

He is survived by his significant other, Robyn Gafford, sons, Edward L. "Pooh"  Graham, Jr, of Marston, Missouri, Orlando "Donkey" Graham of Oklahoma, Lyman J. (Shawna) Long of Republic, Missouri and Gregory (Amanda) Gafford of West Jordan, Utah, two daughters, Kashina Smith of Howardville, Missouri and Taneia (Ryan) Nabors of Lawton, Oklahoma, two brothers, Eugene (Okhui) Reed of St. Roberts, Missouri and Melvin Reed of Winter Haven, Florida, six sisters, Bobbie (Don) Smith and Annette (Robert) Cassel of Howardville, Missouri, Joyce Polley of New Madrid, Missouri, Betty (Bob) Watson of Detroit, Michigan, MayQuilla Squire of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Beverly (Tyrone) Boyd of Swansea, Illinois,  and a host of grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousin, other relatives and friends.

Memorial  Services will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 15, 2019 at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Marston, Missouri with the pastor, Reverend Kirk Dunnavant officiating.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid, Missouri with the Williams Funeral Home of Howardville, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
