Edwin Clement "Ec" Beasley

Edwin Clement "E. C."  Beasley, 81, resident of Sikeston, Missouri died Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.  He was born April 18, 1938 in Tunica, Mississippi to the late Alfonsa and Beulah Demby Beasley.

He was a former member of West End Missionary Baptist Church in Sikeston, Missouri, where he sung in the choir.

On March 16, 1956 he was united in marriage to Pearlie  Mae Patterson.  She preceded him in death on August 24, 2008.

He was employed by Stewart Steel in Sikeston, Missouri until his retirement.

E.C. loved collecting things.  His collection of antiques was quite impressive.  He loved playing Bingo, dancing and telling jokes.  He loved to put a smile on the face of those around him.  If you knew E. C., you would immediately think of him when you hear someone say, "Like I  say…."  Edwin loved his family and celebrating the holidays.  He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is also preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Beasley, two granddaughters, Candis Beasley and Jessica Harris, and his sister, Ruth Beasley.

He is survived by  two sons, Edwin Clement "Bull" Beasley Jr. of St. Louis, Missouri  and Stanley Beasley of  Killeen, Texas, four  daughters, Deborah Beasley of Sikeston, Missouri,   Diann Beasley, Linda Beasley and Patricia Beasley of Killeen, Texas, 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousin, other relatives and friends.

Friends may  call  Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 1:00 P. M, until the funeral hour of 2:00 P. M. at Grace Bible Fellowship Church located at 1506 North Main Street, Sikeston, Missouri with Glodine and Elroy Brown officiating.

Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, Missouri with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
