Ella Mae Neal Robinson, 88, resident of Sikeston, Missouri, died, October 12, 2018 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was born June 10, 1930 in Lonoke, Arkansas to the late Regis Neal and Mary Hall. She was raised by her aunt, the late Minnie Simpkins after the death of her parents.
She was united in marriage to Jerome Robinson on June 8, 1952. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2012.
Ella Mae was employed as a cook at Huck's General Store and The Regional Center in Sikeston, Missouri. She was a mother, caretaker, grandmother and friend to many. She was the matriarch of the family and will be truly missed.
Ella Mae is survived by nine sons and five daughters-in-law, Charles (Lori) Robinson, Bennell Robinson, Leonard (Dorothy) Robinson, Larry (Viola) Robinson, Glenn Robinson, Michael (Denise) Robinson and Terry Robinson of Sikeston, Missouri, Anthony (Jessica) Robinson of Wiley, Texas, and Demetrious Robinson of Chantilly, Virginia, three daughters and two sons-in-law, Janice Gibson of Sikeston, Missouri, Drucella (Carl) Perkins of Stafford, Virginia, and Chrystal (Mitchell) Robinson Thierry of Frisco, Texas, 24 grandchildren (12 boys and 12 girls), one great grandchild, many other children that she loved and raised and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and lifelong friends.
Friends may call Friday, October 19, 2018 from 9:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 10:00 A. M. at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston, Missouri with the pastor, Reverend J. L. Nabors and Reverend Ben Porter officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri at 1:00 P. M.
