Faquazia Danairia Wilson Ellis

FaQuazia Danairia Wilson Ellis, 20, affectionately known as “Quay”, resident of Charleston, Missouri died June 7, 2020 in Sikeston, Missouri.  She was born February 1, 2000 in Sikeston, Missouri to Favis Wilson of Charleston, Missouri and the late Crystal Cooper.

She was a 2018 graduate of Charleston High School where she was active in basketball.

Quay was united in marriage to KeShawn Ellis who survives.

She loved playing basketball, hanging with family and friends and babysitting all the babies.  Her personality often led her to be the life of the party.  Quay will be greatly missed.

In addition to her mother, Quay was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, John Thomas Cooper, her paternal grandmother, Veatrice Wilson, her paternal grandfather, Richard Ozean Davis, and her maternal great grandmother, Tomazine Moore.

In  addition to her husband and father, she is survived by one daughter, Ke’auri Navae’ Ellis of Charleston, Missouri, eight siblings, Darrius T. Cooper of Charleston, Missouri, Shaquon Wilson of Fulton, Kentucky, Christopher Wilson of Paducah, Kentucky, Latrece Coleman of Bloomington, Illinois, LaKrista Winston of Chicago, Illinois, Toya (Dontay) Clark and Tarneshina Gillespie of Sikeston, Missouri and Latricia Gillespie of Charleston, Missouri, her grandmother, Jarlene Cooper of Charleston, Missouri, her step mother, Tonya Wilson of Charleston, Missouri, her Godmother, Chatonya (Jeffrey) Farries, special sister, Michala Griffin, special friends, Foxxy Brown and Adrian Owens, a special aunt, Sherrie Shelby and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

There will be a walk through visitation Saturday,  June 20, 2020  from 11:00 A. M. until 1:00 P. M. at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston, Missouri.  A limited funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 P. M. with interment following in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston, Missouri.  The Williams Funeral Home of Charleston, Missouri is in charge of arrangements.

Because of the Covid-19 pandemics we ask that all attendees honor our social distancing rules and wear a facial mask.
