Frank Edward Henry, 66, resident of Haywood City, Missouri, died March 6, 2019 in Miner, Missouri. He was born January 31, 1950 in Bell City, Missouri to George Edward Henry, Jr. of Bell City, Missouri and Estella Jones Sharp of Oran, Missouri.
He accepted Christ at an early age and attended New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Haywood City, Missouri.
Frank attended South Masters Elementary School and Bell City Public School, both located in Bell City, Missouri. While attending Bell City Public School, he was active in baseball.
Frank served his country by enlisting in the United States Army. He was an active member for seven years and received an honorable discharge.
He later found gainful employment working on the railroad.
Frank was known to be a handy man and loved collecting and scrapping iron. He was a laid back man, who never got in a hurry. A smart person, both physically and mentally, he loved animals, and watching westerns on the television. His presence has created a void for many that knew him. He will be missed.
He is survived by his loving mother, Estella Jones Sharp of Oran, Missouri, his father, George Edward Henry, Jr., two uncles, who were like brothers, Willie Jones of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Harry Jones of Lavergne, Tennessee and a host of cousins and friends.
Friends may call Monday, March 11, 2019 at 11:00 A. M. at New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Haywood City, Missouri until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon with the pastor, Reverend Alex Sims officiating.
Interment will follow in the New Morning Star Cemetery near Haywood City, Missouri with full military honors.
