George Womack, Jr.

George Edmond Womack, Jr., 70, resident of Sikeston, Missouri died Wednesday, January 1, 2019 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.  He was born November 3, 1948 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late George Edmond Womack, Sr.

He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era where he received an  honorable discharge.

George was employed by the State of Wisconsin in the Maintenance Department for over ten years until his retirement.

He enjoyed being around people and entertaining as a comedian.  He was known to be a fun person.  His presence will be missed.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Anthony Pearson of Sikeston, Missouri and one brother,  Jackie Womack of St. Louis, Missouri.

Interment will be Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 9:00 A.M. in Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri with full Military Honors.  The Williams Funeral of Sikeston, Missouri is in charge of arrangements.
