Geraldine "Jereline" Wright, 68, resident of Charleston, Missouri, died June 28, 2020 at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri. She was born December 18, 1951 in Sikeston, Missouri to the late Nathaniel and Ethel Mae Fulton Wright.
She was a graduate of Charleston High School in Charleston, Missouri, class of 1972.
Jereline was a former member of Holy Trinity Church of Deliverance in Charleston, Missouri.
Jereline was a special woman who proudly proclaimed that she was saved and sanctified although she was not able to attend church here due to her illness. She gave her life to God a long time ago and would often talk about her special relationship and her walk with God. She received her former training while attending the Church of God in Christ. She would often use her voice to glorify God and her faith gave her the grace to never complain. She would always speak her mind and always did what she wanted to do.
She enjoyed garage sales and loved haggling over prices because she never paid full price. She loved being around her family, spending time with her sister, and traveling. It is said that she cooked the best sweet potato pies and greens. She will surely be missed, but never forgotten.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Ann Wright and three grandchildren, Cashmere Taylor, Robert Taylor and Joel Walker.
