Gwendolyn Elizabeth Dotson Kellum, 68, resident of Sikeston, Missouri died Monday, September 16, 2024. She was born January 28, 1956 in Sikeston to Alvin and Dorothy Elizabeth Lyons Dotson.
She graduated from Sikeston High School in 1973 and went on to receive an associate’s degree from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. Gwendolyn was an exceptional, hard-working woman. She worked as a ward clerk at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston for many years.
Gwendolyn was united in marriage to Joseph Kellum on May 29, 1993. They shared many years of love together until his earthly departure.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her only daughter, LaToya N. Kellum and two grandchildren, Malachi Kellum and Lauren Patterson, all of the home, additional grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association and the National Kidney Foundation.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
