I'Kera Hill

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved I’Kera Hill, fondly known as “Peanut”. I’Kera passed away on June 22, 2022 at Memorial Hospital after battling COVID.

I’Kera was born April 29, 2019 to her parents, Isaac Hill III and Katrina Simelton-Hill, in Carbondale, IL. I’Kera loved watching CoCo Melon, playing with her mama’s phone, dressing up, and playing with her brothers and sisters.

I’Kera was preceded in death by one sister, Ka’lisha Hill, grandparents, Dorthy Simelton and Isaac Hill, II, great grandparents, Berniece Simelton-Wyatt, Earlene and L.C. Hoy, and Ruthie Hill.

I’Kera was survived by her parents, Katrina and Isaac Hill, 17 brothers and sisters, grandparents, Lizzie Hill and Roy Simelton, aunts, Diedra Matthews and Selene (Dorian) Weems, uncles, Troy, Roy and Jeremy Simelton, a special cousin, Annette (Everett) Jamison, and a host of other relatives and friends.
