Jackie Sue Mccain

September 29, 1962 — May 30, 2022

Jackie Sue McCain was born September 29, 1962, in Charleston, Missouri to the late Clarence Clay and Alma Williams McCain. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Sterling McCain.

Jackie graduated from Charleston High School in 1981.  She was very intelligent, and education was important to her.

She was a hard-working woman who wore many hats. At one time, she was employed at both Tyson Foods and Bertrand Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She also worked at Good Humor for many years. Other jobs she had included Brown Shoe Company, Starks, and Dollar General Store. She was so devoted that she still wanted to work even after she became ill.

Jackie was a sweet, outgoing, and outspoken woman. She loved being in the presence of her family and friends. She would do any and everything for her family.  Her grandbabies brought her so much joy. As a family-oriented person, she always kept those she loved in mind, especially when building her legacy. She wanted to leave something for everyone. As the leader she was, Jackie passed down so much wisdom, encouragement, and motivation to those around her. She would give her last to anyone who needed it.

She loved to shop and cook. She enjoyed sharing a recipe or trying out a new dish. Jackie would always make sure her company ate and was well taken care of. Her loved ones will miss her beautiful smile and her contagious laugh. We can all hear her saying “Lord’s Will” or “The Lord works in mysterious ways.”  Jackie was deeply loved and will be truly missed.

She got her soul right with the Lord while at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  On May 30, 2022, Jackie transitioned to her heavenly home at the age of 59 years, eight months, and one day.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories four sons, LaMychal McCain, DeMarcus Turner, Jadarius McCain, and JaKeith Browning all of Charleston, Missouri, three daughters, Katrina McCain, Nataka McCain, and Phillicia Turner all of Charleston, Missouri, three brothers, Harvey (Stephanie) McCain of East Prairie, Missouri, and Clifford Ray Williams and Dwight Williams both of Charleston, Missouri, three sisters, Ruby McCain, Teresa Williams, and Doris McCain all of Charleston, Missouri, her aunt who was like a mother, Stella Mae (Elder Elvin) Greer, her uncle, James (Rose) McCain, 18 grandchildren, one great grandson, KaZyer Williams, a bonus son, Jitwuan McCain, a bonus daughter, Dequilla Williams, a cousin, who was more like a brother, Larry McCain, two very loyal and special friends, Tim Easton and Lawanda Ware-Moton, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
