Jamarquay Nazarr Clemons

June 16, 1999 — May 25, 2022

Jamarquay Nazarr Clemons was born June 16, 1999 to LaTwila Merriweather and DeCarlos (Tiana) Clemons in Sikeston, Missouri.

He attended Cape Public Schools, and graduated Cape Central High School in 2017. Jamarquay enjoyed basketball. His favorite NBA player was LeBron James, #23. Jamarquay also was a gamer, playing the latest games on Playstation and XBox.

Jamarquay was very respectful to others. He was the loyal one; and all who knew him knew his love was real. His family and friends meant the world to him. Jamarquay loved giving out hugs to everyone he loved. Those hugs will be forever missed.

He was a hard worker, and  always tried to do the right thing. Jamarquay was a protector to all of his siblings, and his sisters will definitely miss him "roughing them up."

Jamarquay is preceded in death by his uncle Leslie Williams, and    grandparents, Jimmie and Shirley Johnson, and great grandparents, Clyde and Annie Merriweather.

Jamarquay is survived by his parents, siblings, DeCarleon Clemons, Taliyah Merriweather, Ziontrez Brown, Gabriel Bland, Adrianna Reynolds, Iyana Clemons, Iayja Clemons, Izaria Clemons, Indhia Clemons all of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Anedra Rivers and DeCarlos Clemons II of Charleston, Missouri; RayShundre (Brittney) Jackson of Dallas, Texas; his girlfriend, Quintaya Moore-Jackson; his grandparents, Valerie Kay Merriweather and Bobby Lewis; great grandparents, Walter and Mary Lewis; aunts and uncles, Anneshia Lewis, Nonyumeka Clemons, Yaszmin Rodgers, Shalonda Clemons, Jimmy (Melissa) Clemons, Mario Clemons, Diyez Owen, Orenthal McCluney and a host of other aunts, uncles,  cousins, family, and friends.

Friends may call Friday, June 3, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour of 2:00 P.M at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Arthur Cassell officiating.  Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with the Williams Funeral Homes of Charleston in charge of arrangements .
