Jennifer Ann Midgett

July 21, 1976 — January 15, 2019

Jennifer Ann Midgett,  42, resident of Sikeston, Missouri died January 15, 2019 at her home.  She was born July 21, 1976 in Humboldt, Tennessee to Robert Midgett of Humboldt, Tennessee and Janice Mays Midgett of Sikeston, Missouri.

She attended New Madrid Public Schools in New Madrid, Missouri and worked in various occupations where she was able to help others.

She was a former member of Friendship Church of God in Christ in Howardville, Missouri under the leadership of Bishop Marvelle Cranford.

She was a strong, loving, family woman who loved to  celebrate holidays.  To see others happy gave her the most joy.  She was a dedicated mother, who absolutely loved her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed listening to music and writing poems.  Jennifer had a heart of gold and loved to help others. Her love will live on through others and she will not be forgotten.

In addition to her parents,  she is survived  by the man that helped raise her, George White of New Madrid, Missouri, four sons, Carlos Phillips, Jr., Malachi Preston, Jamarion Anderson and Tyrell Anderson of Sikeston, Missouri, three daughters, Catashia Phillips, Ciara Phillips and Janiya Anderson  of Sikeston, Missouri, one brother, Robert James Junior Midgett of Dexter, Missouri, three sisters, Maria Gray of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Lisa Pledge of Humboldt, Tennessee and Morine Midgett of Alamo, Tennessee, three grandchildren, Tatyana Meadows, Tre Meadows, Jr. and Taraji Meadows of Sikeston, Missouri, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Friday, January 25, 2019 from 11:00 am until the funeral hour of 1:00pm at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in New Madrid, Missouri with Minister Isaac Cooper officiating.  Interment will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery in New Madrid, Missouri with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
