John Lamar Turner

John Turner, 29, resident of Columbia, Missouri, formerly of Sikeston, Missouri died December 30, 2019 in Fayette, Missouri.  He was born July 22, 1990 in Sikeston, Missouri to Rose Faulkner of Sikeston, Missouri and John Turner of Haywood City, Missouri.

John attended Sikeston High School in Sikeston, Missouri and was employed at Tyson Food in Dexter, Missouri before relocating to Columbia, Missouri.

He loved working out and keeping his hair well groomed.  He also loved cooking breakfast and watching his favorite basketball team, "The Golden State Warriors."  John will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Rose Faulkner of Sikeston, Missouri and John Turner of Haywood City, Missouri, one son, John Turner of Perryville, Missouri, three daughters, Jalexis Turner of Perryville, Missouri, Serenity Robinson of Columbia, Missouri and Ja'Laya Kamoni Turner (due February 2020),  grandparents, Lewis and Shirley Jones of Sikeston, Missouri and John Henry and Shirley Turner of Haywood City, Missouri, four brothers, Darell Turner of Memphis, Tennessee, Cornelius Turner of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Justin Robinson and Christopher (Chasman) Bryant  of Sikeston, Missouri, seven sisters, Iiesha Randle of Columbia, Missouri, Kerasjia Williamson, Jalishia Williamson, Aleshia Williamson, Deonna Jones and Tashira King of Sikeston, Missouri, and Ryan Symon Turner of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston, Missouri with Pastor Clayton Willis of Divine Second Chance Ministries, officiating.

Interment will follow in the New Morning Star Cemetery in Haywood City, Missouri with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
