Johnny Parker, 54, resident of Charleston, Missouri died Monday, April 1, 2019 at his home. He was born August 20, 1964 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to the late John and Willie Mae Treadwell Parker.
He was a graduate of Charleston High School and was a farm laborer.
On January 5, 2018, Johnny was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Nichols, who survives of the home.
Johnny was a family man, who would put others before himself. He was a man of integrity. If Johnny said he would do it, he would do it. He was dependable and reliable. Johnny loved to joke and would keep you laughing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, James Parker and Harvey Lee Parker, and four sisters, Mildred Jackson, Mae Willie Butler, Bernita Parker and Thelma Butcher.
In addition to his wife, Patricia Parker, he is survived by two daughters, Jonell Parker and Caitlin Parker of Mississippi, one brother, Michael (Barbara) Parker of Charleston, Missouri, three sisters, Juanita (Craig) Barner of Plainfield, Illinois, Carolyn (Kenneth) Thomas of Montgomery, Illinois, and Johnna Kaye (Earnest) Upchurch of Rock Island, Illinois, four stepchildren, Keeana Nichols, Olushola Dipeolu, Elizabeth Dipeolu and Colon Nichols of Chicago, Illinois, two step grandchildren, and a host of aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M. at Opportunity Church of God in Christ in Charleston, Missouri with the pastor, Superintendent Steve Betts, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston, Missouri.
