Johnnie Lee Strayhorn was born December 23, 1929 in Carroll County, TN to Zack and Onie (Browning) Strayhorn. To that union, three boys and one girl were born.
He worked on the farm and loved traveling.
On Monday, February 15, 2021, God decided to call Johnnie, his faithful servant home, while at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO at the age of 91.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Lee Strayhorn and James Strayhorn, and one sister, Opal Strayhorn Jordan.
He leaves to cherish one son and two daughters, two special nephews, James Boyce and Larry Cooper, special friend Antonio Evans, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
