Kamarlius Smith

Kamarlius LaCarrr Smith, affectionately known as “Boo Boo”, was born Thursday, July 12, 1979 in Sikeston, Missouri, the son of Jackie Smith and Calvin Robinson. He was one of five children. He is preceded in death by three daughters, Kilani, Kamora, and Karena, his father, Calvin Robinson, his maternal grandparents, Tom and Dorothy Smith, his nephew, Chris Smith, and his cousins, Courtney Smith, Tony McGee, and Paige McGee.

Kamarlius attended Charleston Public Schools and graduated in May 2000. He also had two years of college experience, majoring in business.

He was a lifetime resident of Mississippi county. Kamarlius loved watching movies, playing his PlayStation, spending time with family, and hanging out with friends. He was a very sweet soul and a loving person to everyone he encountered. He had a warm, gentle, and very humble spirit that will always be remembered.

On Monday, March 17, 2025, while at his mother’s home, God called him to his heavenly home at the age of 45 years, eight months, and five days.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his mother, Jackie Smith of Charleston, Missouri, his daughters, Kaishoina Smith and Octavia Smith both of Charleston, Missouri, Danielle Smith of Arkansas, and Kamilia Smith of South Carolina, his brothers, Byron (Pam) Smith of Charleston, Missouri, Sean (Thyesha) Smith of Bloomington, Illinois, and Jim Adams of Georgia, his sister, Teresa Adams of Georgia, his uncle, Kim (Necie) Smith of Mounds, Illinois, his aunts, Farris McGee, Vickie Gillespie, and Essie Wright all of Charleston, Missouri, and Betty (David) Fuller of Sikeston, Missouri, his special cousin, Tara Smith of Jackson, Missouri, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

Friends may call Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M. at the Bowden Civic Center in Charleston, Missouri with Pastor Floyd Wade officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston with the Williams Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
