Kenneth Lewis Tucker, Jr., affectionately known as "KT", 27, resident of Cairo, Illinois died, September 2, 2018 in Cairo, Illinois. He was born November 28, 1990 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to the late Kenneth Lewis Tucker, Sr. and Marcy Cummings of Cairo, Illinois.
Kenneth attended Cairo Public School District until the ninth grade, when the family relocated to Augusta, Georgia. They later transferred to Ft. Huachuca, Arizona before settling in El Paso, Texas.
Kenneth was a very intelligent young man. He received a Pharmacy Technician Certificate from DeVry University. He enrolled in Prescott College in Prescott, Arizona and was working towards a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering before moving back to Cairo, Illinois in 2017.
He worked a variety of factory and fast food jobs.
Kenneth enjoyed writing and making music. He was very easy going and would light up a room with his smile.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Eddie and Vertrice Brown, Sr., Charles Tucker, Sr., and Lucy Clark, and a special friend, Kanidryana (Nedra) Moss.
He is survived by his parents, Tony and Marcy Cummings of Cairo, Illinois, one son, TySeandre Edwards of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, two daughters, Sidney Tucker of Phoenix, Arizona and Kaliyah Tucker of Sierra Vista, Arizona, four brothers, Katrell Tucker of Cairo, Illinois, Tre'Von (Samira) Cummings and Malachi Tucker of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Dejuan Cummings of Georgia, four sisters, SaShay Williams of Florida, Javelin Tucker of Paducah, Kentucky, and Jada Tucker and Omega Tucker of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, ten uncles, Eddie (Marilyn) Brown, Sr., Anthony Brown, Sr., Daniel (Laura)) Brown, Sr., Michael Brown, Timothy (Regina) Brown, Sr., and Bernard (Deborah) Brown, Sr. of Cairo, Illinois, Thomas Brown, Sr. of Cahokia, Illinois, Jerry Tucker of Baltimore, Maryland, Thomas Clark of Las Angeles, California and Charles Tucker, Jr. of Marion, Illinois, nine aunts, Diana (Willie) Bingham, Jr., Lorrain Johnson, Carolyn (Eddie) Smith, and Monica Woodson of Cairo, Illinois, Margaret Lee of Joliet, Illinois, Vertrice Brown of St. Charles, Missouri, Marilyn Tucker of Marion, Illinois, and Gwendolyn Clark and VeEssie Tucker of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, two special uncles, Landus (Shunicia) Jackson and Correy Wilson of Cairo, Illinois, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 5:00 P. M. until the family private hour of 6:00 P. M. at First Missionary Baptist Church in Cairo, Illinois with the pastor, Elder Jimmy Ellis, officiating.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 11:00 A. M. at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Illinois with the Williams Funeral Home of Charleston, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
