Larry Charles Donnell Walker, affectionately known as Dink, resident of Amory, Mississippi, formerly of Charleston, Missouri died Monday, March 28, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point, Mississippi. He was born September 8, 1951 in Diehlstadt, Missouri to the late Mose Walker, Sr. and Alice Robinson Walker.
Dink attended Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church during his younger years.
He was a graduate of Charleston High School.
Dink was a farmhand for many years. He was a hard worker who provided for his family.
He was always the life of the party, always making everyone laugh. He was loved by all.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronald Walker, Gerald Walker, and Marvin Walker, and four sisters, Marie Robinson, Karen McKeller, Vienna Walker, and Sharon Walker.
He is survived by two sons, Demetrics McCauley and Larry McCauley of Charleston, Missouri, one daughter, Satoria Thomas of Columbus, Mississippi, three brothers, Mose Walker, Jr. of Peoria, Illinois, Ronnie (Ida) Walker of Charleston, Missouri and Craig Walker of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, two sisters, Pastor Erma Price of Unity, Illinois, and Mona (Jerome) Hamilton of Charleston, Missouri, a special niece and nephew, Eddie and Kathy Wells, and his special daughter, Nikita McCauley Lackey, several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
Friends may call Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 Noon at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Arthur Cassell officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with the Williams Funeral Homes of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
