Laura Ann Pulliam

March 22, 1959 — November 14, 2022

Laura Ann Pulliam was born in Hayti, Missouri on March 22, 1959. She was the third child born to Limmie D. Pulliam, Sr. and Virgie M. (Moore) Pulliam. Laura transitioned from earthly life on November 14, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Laura accepted Christ at the early age of 12 years old. She graduated from Kennett High School and went on to attend Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Arkansas State University in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Laura was a woman of immense faith and was truly born with the heart of a servant. She was a blessing to many people, both young and old. For many years, she opened her home, wherever it was, without charge to those the Lord sent her way. Sometimes for weeks, sometimes for months, sometimes for years. Laura was a prayer warrior, faithful to the 5:00 AM prayer line for more than 25 years.  An astute businesswoman, Laura was CEO of her own tax preparation service, Tax Hut, for more than 30 years. She was a lover of people and loved to help people in any way she could.

Laura is preceded in death by her father, the late Supt. Limmie D. Pulliam, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Virgie and nine siblings: Clarence, LaVan and Limmie, Jr. of Kennett, Missouri; Mary Pulliam of Longview, Texas; Tressa (Ronnie) Grogan of Houston, Texas, Sam (Ruby) Pulliam of Dryden, New York; Michael (Lisa), Evelyn, and Sharon Pulliam of Saint Louis, Missouri. She also leaves behind a special aunt, Willie Mae Pulliam and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

“And I hear a voice from heaven saying unto me, ”Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord. From henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.” Revelations 14:13.
