Lloyd "Gene" Washington, 52, resident of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, formerly of Sikeston, Missouri died November 23, 2019 at his home. He was born October 3, 1967 in Sikeston, Missouri to Florida B. Washington Reeves of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the late Perry Moore.
He attended Sikeston Senior High School and Smith Chapel United Methodist Church in Sikeston, Missouri as a youth.
Gene loved music, shooting pool, cooking, skating and dancing. He was truly the life of the party. He always had a smile on his face or was laughing about something. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving mother, Florida B. Reeves of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, his grandmother, Jessie Lee Freeman of Sikeston, Missouri, two sisters, Amina (Trent) Jeffery of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Martesa Moore of Florence, South Carolina, three brothers, Perry Moore, Jr. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Jerome Moore and Eric Moore of Florence, South Carolina, two uncles, Michael Washington and Paul Freeman of Sikeston, Missouri, two aunts, Lola Amerson of Sikeston, Missouri and Martha Moore Cunningham of Forth Worth, Texas, and a host of other relatives and friends
Friends may call Friday, December 20, 2019 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P. M. at Smith Chapel United Methodist Church in Sikeston, Missouri with the pastor, Reverend Kenneth King officiating.
Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, Missouri with the Williams Funeral Home of Sikeston, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
