Loriann Marie Clemon, 55, resident of Charleston, Missouri, died Thursday, February 8, 2024 while at St. Mark Medical Center in Hobart, Indiana. She was born September 26, 1968 in Charleston to the late Albert Perry and the late Rosemary Carter Simpson.
Loriann graduated from Charleston High School in Charleston, Missouri.
She was a hard worker. In her early years, she worked at C & F Foods and Brown Shoe Company. She would later become employed at Tyson Foods where she worked for over 20 years until her retirement in 2023.
Loriann married her sweetheart, Terrence Clemon, on November 28, 2020.
She was loving and giving, and just an all-around good person. Loriann loved to watch sports and was a Kansas City Chief’s fan. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She was loved by many.
In addition to her husband, Terrence Clemon of the home, Loriann is survived by six stepchildren, Coby Jones, Jerrod Jones, Dalvine Lawrence, Jevon Jones, Terrence Clemon, Jr.,and Denisha Clemon all of Charleston, four brothers, Willie Charles Simpson of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Lascotto Simpson of Columbia, Missouri, Paul Simpson of Jefferson City, Missouri and Jerry Carter of Charleston, Missouri, five sisters, Senegal (Laigo) Simpson, Siera Simpson, and Eather Simpson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Kimberly Simpson of Charleston, Missouri and Della Simpson of Gary, Indiana, two grandchildren, uncles, aunts, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M. at Opportunity Church of God in Christ in Charleston, Missouri with Superintendent Steve Betts officiating. Interment will immediately follow services in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston. The Williams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
