Mamon Wells, Jr., 57, resident of Bertrand, Missouri died Monday, January 15, 2024 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri. He was born August 15, 1966 in Gary, Indiana to the late Mamon and Frances Wilson Wells, Sr.
Mamon developed and nurtured a personal relationship with the Lord. He attended Williams Chapel Church of God in Christ while in Gary, Indiana. Once he relocated, he attended church in the area.
He was a member of the graduating class of 1985 from Hammond High School in Hammond, Indiana.
Mamon was a hard worker. He had been employed at places such as Havco, Steward Steele, and FedEx. When he wasn’t working, he was an avid reader. His favorite past time was collecting comic books. When he put his books down, he could be found in front of the T.V. watching his stories come to life. Mamon loved to eat and he loved his family dearly.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandmother, Clara Wilson.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his brother, Keenon Purnell of Sikeston, Missouri, his sister, Clarice Wells of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, his uncle, Willie Harris of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, his aunt, Lenora Wells of Gary, Indiana, a host of loving cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M. at Powerhouse Church of Deliverance in Charleston, Missouri with Pastor Richard Wilson officiating.
