Milton Parker, Jr., affectionately known as Buddy, 65, died April 9, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born February 8, 1956 in Sikeston, Missouri to the late Milton Parker, Sr. and Mary Francis Williamson Parker.
In 1973, Buddy graduated from Matthews Sr. High School in Matthews, Missouri.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1974 and earned the rank of Sergeant.
He was a faithful member of One More Chance Life Ministries where he was an usher. He truly loved the Lord.
He was known by many for riding his lawn mower. Buddy was always the life of the party.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Henry Parker, Willie Parker, and Earl Parker, one sister, Joyce Ann Parker, and a special friend, Mary “Tiny” Lewis.
He leaves to cherish his memories his son, Anthony Taylor of Sikeston, Missouri, his daughter, Brenie Taylor of Nashville, Tennessee, his sisters, Mary Betts of Charleston, Missouri and Bertha Parker of Sikeston, Missouri, three step-daughters, Kesha Lewis, Luretha Lewis, and Latoya Lewis all of Parma, Missouri, three grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M. at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston, Missouri with Bishop Calvin Bird officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Sunset of Memories Cemetery with full military honors.
