Minerva Grissom, 61, died Monday, August 9, 2021 at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, Missouri. She was born on January 9, 1960 in Jaywye, Missouri to the late Tom and Mattie Johnson.
She was the seventh of twelve children and was known as “Framon” to her family. She was also preceded in death by four brothers (Tom, Johnnie Lee, Al and Micheal) and one sister (Gloria “Deanie”).
Minerva gave her life to the Lord at an early age. During her Christian journey she became a member of the Life Changers Restoration Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Earl Grissom where she re-dedicated her Life and was baptized on Saturday May 10, 2008. With a heart for serving Minerva became an Usher for the ministry and advanced to becoming the Lead Usher leading and serving others.
Minerva was united with the love of her life Mr. Ledale Grissom in 1991. She was a loving and dedicated wife to her husband and honored the vows till the day of her earthly departure.
She was a faithful and dedicated employee of Unilever for 24 years and was planning to retire at the end of the year.
Minerva leaves to honor and cherish her precious memories her husband; Ledale Grissom; two step-daughters: Kaleesha Gaines, Lilbourn, MO, Jasmine Grissom-Forrest City, AR, two step-sons; Andris Grissom, Sikeston, MO, Darrell Anderson, Fort Wayne, IN, her dog: Jack, ten step-grandchildren, three Sisters; Margaret Marsh, Joyce Robinson (Claude) and Jeanette Johnson (Roosevelt), three brothers; Terry Johnson, Mathis “Perry” Johnson, and Victor Johnson all of Missouri and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.
Friends may call Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Life Changers Restoration Ministries in Lilbourn, Missouri with Pastor Earl Grissom officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Simmons Park Cemetery in Catron, Missouri.
