Nevaeh Michelle Yvette Horrell daughter of Clemmie Lane and Travonda Horrell was born on March 20, 2004 in Carbondale Illinois. She was the oldest of four siblings at home, three girls and one boy.
In her early life, Nevaeh lived in Cairo Illinois and attended Cairo Public Schools. In 2010 her family moved to Charleston, Missouri where Nevaeh attended the Charleston School District. She also was a member of Perry Chapel AME Church and was on the stepper's team. In 2015 her family moved to Cape Girardeau Missouri where Nevaeh attended Neil Holcomb Middle School where she played basketball. She graduated and went on to Cape Central High School where she became a Cape Central Tiger. She was a member of the dance team and the Cape Central Choir where she would have been performing for both her senior year. Nevaeh had plans and goals to attend college and become a nurse.
Nevaeh was known for her beautiful smile, one dimple and her playful ways. She was always the bright light in the room. Her hobbies were collecting graphic Tees, Tik-Tok, dancing, going to the dogwood arcade, and taking pictures with the crew.
Nevaeh was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Dorothy Gale Anderson, and great great grandparents, Willie and Ethel Currin.
On May 1, 2021 Nevaeh departed this life and gained her wings at the age of 17 years, one month, and 11 days.
Nevaeh leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother, Travonda Horrell, her father Clemmie Lane, grandmothers Michelle Horrell and Mertis Oliver, grandfather Randy Cleaves, aunt Syera Horrell, her loving cousin De’quilla Williams, her very special nephew Ny’year Horrell, and her littlest best friend A’Riyah Newson.

Friends may call Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 P.M. at the Bowden Civic Center in Charleston, Missouri with Pastor Darren Horrell officiating. The Williams Funeral Homes of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
