Nina Ronnette Tate-Boyd, 52, resident of Sikeston, passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri with her children by her side. She was born February 5, 1969 in St. Louis Missouri to the late Ervin Tate Sr. and Eva-Nell First of Fort Dodge, Iowa.
Nina attended Beaumont High School located in St. Louis, Missouri.
She was employed at the Montgomery Estates for 20+ years.
She loved reading novels, watching horror movies, having karaoke night with her grandchildren. She also loved fishing, doing puzzles, knitting and collecting movies.
Nina was a natural born leader, provider and a great mother who loved and adored her family.
Nina is survived by two daughters, Shauncharae Lindsey and Farrah Boyd, four sons, Frank Boyd IV, Zederick Boyd, Christopher Boyd, and Darien Boyd all of Sikeston, Missouri, an ex husband/friend Frank Boyd III of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, six brothers, Ervin Tate (Crystal), Earl Pass, and Eric Pass of St. Louis Missouri, Eric Tate of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Emeric Tate (Michelle) of Raeford, North Carolina, and Morris Boyd (Danielle) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, three sisters, Arnette Tate and Djoni Tate of St. Louis, Missouri, and Nadiaya Sutton of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Nina loved her grandchildren. She had 17 grandkids, ten girls and seven boys, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, other relatives and friends.
Nina was a loving, caring individual and a woman on many talents. She would always tell her kids "I love you, more", " Don't say bye, say see you later"... "Now is not your later. "
Friends may call Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. Ricky Anderson officiating.
