Pastor Kirk Dunnavant

Pastor Kirk Dunnavant, 63, resident of Cape Girardeau, MO, gained his angel wings on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born on November 2, 1957 to the Rev. Kirk Edward Dunnavant of Nashville, TN. and Joyce C. Fletcher of Toledo, OH.

He was the proud Pastor of Good Hope M.B. Church of Marston, MO. for the past 16 years. His passion was his walk with Christ and serving the people of God. He was fondly called “Everybody’s Pastor.”

He was preceded in death by a brother Troy Dunnavant. He leaves to cherish his wife Denise Dunnavant; his Parents; his children Kirk Gaiter, Pierre Young, Dominique Young and Christian Dunnavant; his sisters Michelle Dunnavant, Renee (Tony) Craig, Lisa Dunnavant; his brothers Pastor Michael (Christine) Hopewell, Rev. Flynn Dunnavant, Apostle David Dunnavant, Shawn Dunnavant, Michael Peterson, Jason Dunnavant and Terrance Dunnavant.

A walk-through visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Good Hope M.B. Church in Marston, MO. Private funeral services for the family members, Good Hope Church members and the Clergy will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Ronnie Webb eulogizing and Bishop Calvin Bird officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, MO.
