Paula Jo Myers Powers

Paula Jo Myers Powers, 52, resident of Sikeston, Missouri, died April 3, 2018 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.  She was born April 1, 1966 in Charleston, Missouri to the late David Joe Myers and the late Virginia George-Howell.

She was of the Pentecost faith and loved family time, fishing, playing cards and Bingo.  Paula would go out of her way to make sure others were taken care of.  She had a very special love for her grandchildren and her youngest son, Joseph Powers,  who meant the world to her.  She had an amazing heart and much love for all her family and friends.  Paula was a fighter and a warrior throughout her life and see kept this spirit until she was called home.

She was united in marriage to Harry Lewis Powers, Sr. who also preceded her in death.   She was also preceded in death by one brother, Jackie Myers and one sister, Kimberly Howell.

She is survived by two sons, Mikle Smith and Joseph Powers of Sikeston, Missouri, one daughter, Angela Lewis of Sikeston, Missouri, two step sons, Nathan Powers and Harry Powers, Jr. of Sikeston, Missouri, three  brothers,  David Myers, Roy Howell,  and Kenneth Smith of Sikeston, Missouri, two sisters, Joyce Howell Hise and Melissa Smith of Sikeston, Missouri, three grandchildren, two step grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.

Friends may call Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 3:00 P. M. until the funeral hour of 4:00 P. M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston, Missouri with Reverend Gary Graham officiating.
