Paulette Bledsoe

Paulette Bledsoe was born on February 23, 1949 in Oran, Missouri to the late Charline Whitfield Mead and Gussie Lee Mead. She was one of 12 siblings, six boys and six girls. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers, three sisters, and one son.

She accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. She attended Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Churchin Lilbourn, Missouri and was of Baptist faith.

Paulette was a hard worker. She worked at New Madrid Nursing Home for many years.

Paulette was called home at the age of 75 on Tuesday August 20, 2024. Her soul is now at rest.

She leaves to cherish precious memories two sons, Monroe (Linda Mhoon) Young of Sikeston, Missouri & Shawn (Kyra) Young of Lilbourn, Missouri, one daughter, Latiece (Phillip) Brooks of Howardville, Missouri, one brother, Ervin Mead of Lilbourn, Missouri, two sisters, Doris Pope of St. Louis, Missouri and Gloria (Ron) Carter of Lilbourn, Missouri, one aunt, Molly Harmon, 33 grandkids, and a host of great grand kids, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. She loved her children.

Friends may call Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn, Missouri with Pastor Darryl Minner officiating.  Interment will immediately follow in Simmons Park Cemetery in Catron, Missouri.
