Perry Anthony Strong

December 23, 1962 — June 13, 2022

Perry Anthony Strong was born December 23, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan to Cleophus Strong and Zelda Delora Smith Draper. He was preceded in death by his father and a grandson, Seven Strong.

He attended Cody High School while in Detroit, Michigan.

Perry and Tracy Ross were happily married on October 24, 2022 in a beautiful ceremony celebrated with family and friends.  Perry loved his wife dearly and affectionately referred to her as “suga baby” and “honey bunches of oats.”

He had a personal relationship with God and would attend Abundant Life in Christ Missionary Baptist Church occasionally.

Perry was a hard worker.  He took pride in providing for his family.  He had been employed with Havco Wood Products for several years.

He enjoyed playing the bass guitar and going to the gun range.  He was proud of his collection of guns.

He looked forward to spending time with his family and playing cornhole.

On Monday, June 13, 2022, Perry was suddenly taken from our midst while at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri with his loving wife by his side at the age of 59 years, five months and one day.
