Priscilla Ann Johnson Haynes

August 25, 1971 — August 15, 2021

Priscilla Ann Johnson Haynes, affectionately known as Scilla, resident of Charleston, Missouri died Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.  She was born August 25, 1971 in Sikeston, Missouri to the late Luther Murray and the late Ethel Lee Hines.

She loved and developed her own personal relationship with God.

Priscilla was a hardworking woman. She loved her job. Her passion was working with the elderly.  She worked at many nursing facilities, but found her home at  Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was united in marriage to Donnell Haynes.

She loved to cook on Sundays;  her house was the go-to place. Her favorite was grilling.   Spending time with family brought her so much joy. Her grandchildren were dear to her and she was happiest when they were around.  In her free time, she would reminisce  about the past.  To relax, she would go riding in the country. Her and her pretty smile will definitely be missed.

In addition to her parents, Luther Murray and Ethel Hines, she is preceded in death by her brother, Clifford Johnson, her maternal grandparents, Tony and Samella Hines, and her paternal grandparents, Luther and Rudell Murray, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband, Donnell Haynes of Charleston, Missouri, three sons, Donnell (April Ross) Haynes, LaDale (Brandy Vinson) Haynes, and Stacy (Jameka) Johnson all of Charleston, Missouri, two daughters, Missy Johnson and Deritha Haynes of Charleston, Missouri, six brothers, Jonas “J.B.” (Latotia) Stanback and Richard Johnson of Sikeston Missouri, Luther Hines, Danny (Laturia Asberry) Hines and James (Shawnna) Murray of Charleston, Missouri, and Timothy (Malissa) Murray of Festus, Missouri, four sisters, Margarette Scott and Claudette Evans of Charleston, Missouri, Carolyn Hines of Sikeston, Missouri, and Mary Murray of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, 11 grandchildren including two special granddaughters, Ziarra Craig and Jamey Vinson, two special nephews, Clifford Johnson, Jr., and Quincy Hines, two special nieces, Tanjneka Murray and Quazeria Green, her goddaughter, Kemarrianna “Pearl” Clark of Lafayette, Indiana, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
