Queen Ester Starnes, resident of Sikeston, Missouri, departed this life on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 67. She was born November 9, 1956 in Tunica, Mississippi to the late Cleve Starnes and Ollie Mae Brown Starnes.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children, three daughters, Paula Starnes, Kimberly Starnes, and Merry Starnes, and one son, Marcus Starnes, all of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, one brother, James (Robbin) Herron of Springfield, Missouri, three sisters, Viola Ward of Chicago, Illinois, Gloria (Robert) Ellis, and Ollie “Jean” (Arthur) Robinson of Sikeston, Missouri, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Friends may call Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston, Missouri with Bishop T.D. Robinson of New Deliverance Praise and Worship in Sikeston officiating. Interment will immediately follow services in Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston with the Williams Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
