Raymond Charles Bledsoe, 66, died Sunday, December 13, 2020 in his home in Howardville, Missouri. He was born March 4, 1954 in Matthews, Missouri to the late Henry Finley and Clatteea (Bledsoe) Thomas.
In addition to his parents, Henry Finley and Floyd (Clatteea) Thomas, he is preceded in death by his brothers, James Thomas, Floyd Thomas Jr., Larry Thomas, Ricky Thomas, Jessie Thomas, and Jerry Thomas, and sisters, Barbara Bledsoe, Earnistine Walker, Floyda Moore, and Frances Thomas.
He grew up in Matthews, Missouri working on the farm and was one of greatest basketball players in Southeast Missouri while attending high school.
He confessed a hope in Christ, December 1, 2020.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Paulette Bledsoe, four sons, Lee (Lisa) Marsh, Raymond Jackson, Shawn (Kyra) Young and Monroe Young, two daughters, Rhonda Boyd, Latiece (Phillip) Brooks, five brothers, Otis Thomas, Nathan (Melinda) Thomas, Alvin (Helen) Thomas, Ronnie (Lula) Thomas, and David (Falon) Thomas, four sisters, Willie Mae Saines, Barbara Echols, Carolyn Thomas, and Patricia (Sidney) Chandler, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
Friends may visit Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 pm at Life Changers Restoration Ministries in Lilbourn, Missouri with Pastor Earl Grissom officiating.
The Williams Funeral Homes of Howardville is in charge of arrangements.
