Ron Diante Williams, 31, resident of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, died Monday, February 27, 2023 while at his home. He was born October 1, 1991 in Sikeston, Missouri to Mark Williams and Angela Coopwood Williams both of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
At an early age, Ron gave his life to God and was baptized at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston, Missouri under the leadership of Pastor L.J Nabors. Throughout his life, he continued to build his own personal relationship with the Lord.
Ron enjoyed sports and played football during his younger years. He began his education in Charleston Public Schools until ultimately graduating from Cape Central High School in Cape Girardeau, Missouri in 2010.
He was employed at Unilever as a mixer for over five years until his health declined and he was no longer able to work. He was a hardworking man that was dedicated to anything he put his mind to.
Ron was a laid back, people person that loved caring for others. As a family-oriented man, he enjoyed making people laugh but would also tell you like it is. He genuinely experienced life and was always down for a good time. He loved taking country rides with friends and shooting his guns. He had a passion for music and working on his car. In his free time, he could be found fishing, drawing, or hanging with his family and friends. Ron’s loving personality and big heart will be missed by all that knew him. His mother will definitely miss him saying “Momma” and “Sugarfoot”.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Marquita Williams, his uncles, John Williams and Jim Williams, his paternal grandparents, Ronnie Dunnigan and Lynda Williams, and his maternal grandmother, Sylvia Coopwood.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his daughter, Chloe Taylor of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, his father, Mark (Lynette) Williams of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, his mother, Angela Williams of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, his brothers, Mark Williams, Jr. and Bryce Williams both of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, his sisters, Alexis (Jerrod Willis) Williams, Miara (Levi Davidson) Williams, and Mykah Williams all of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and I’Keria Walker of Sikeston, Missouri, his good friends, David Lester and Danielle Williams both of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Dominique Orr of Wyatt, Missouri, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
Friends may call Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M. at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston, Missouri with Minister Willie Williams officiating.
