Ronald Eugene Scott, affectionately known as Ronnie, died Saturday, June 25, 2022, while at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri. He was born January 12, 1968, in Charleston, Missouri, to the late Billy Oliver and Lillian Maxine Scott Horton.
He had his own personal relationship with God. He believed and called on him during difficult times.
Ronnie was a hard worker. He worked at Mueller Farms for 19 years. Ronnie also worked at Black and Gold Farms.
In his free time, he loved listening to rap music, watching television, and eating barbeque. Ronnie will be truly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Scott, Floyd Scott, David Scott, and Clayton Scott, his sister, Fredia Scott, and his grandfather, Clarence “Mighty” Scott.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories five brothers, Dale (Danielle) Horton, Fletcher Moore, Tony Davis, John Gary, and Larry Dwyane, ten sisters, Margaret (James) Scott, Loretta (Gene) Rodgers, Renada Moore, Andra Moore, Tammie Straughter, Nalanta Straughter, Kim Grant, Monica Oliver, Sheila Gram, and Deanna “Peaches” Petty, a very special aunt, Virgie Henry, a very special friend, Delores “Cherry” Young, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Friends may call Friday, July 1, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston, Missouri. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
