Roy Lee Lampkin, 77, resident of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, formerly of Charleston, Missouri died Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Rooms R Us Adult Family Home, LLC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was born December 18, 1942 in Diehlstadt, Missouri to the late Robert Lampkin, Sr. and Bertha Lee Lurry Lampkin.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was a graduate of Diehlstadt High School in Diehlstadt, Missouri.
When he wasn't working on a farm, you could find him cooking and singing.
He is preceded in death by three brothers, Alonzo Hoover, Willie Randle, Jr. and Dwight Randle, his sister, Gathella Lampkin, his niece, Valerie Lampkin, a very special nephew from another mother, Timothy R. Stotts of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a special friend, Elnora Saffold.
He leaves to cherish memories his daughter, Cinnamon Lampkin of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, four brothers, Terry Lampkin of Cleveland, Ohio, David Lampkin of Richmond, California, Robert Lampkin of Victorville, California, Gilbert Lampkin of Nashville, Tennessee, three sisters, Patricia Lampkin and Sheila Randle of Charleston, Missouri, Janice Lampkin Parnell of Whiting, Indiana, a special sister-in-law, Mae Lars Seals Hoover, a brother-in-law, Robert Parnell, a very special cousin, Margie Miller Ellison of Brownstown, Michigan, four grandchildren all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour of 2:00 P.M. at Perry Chapel AME Church with Pastor Carolyn Kent officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with the Williams Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
