Tamyra La’triece Greer, affectionately known as Triece, Tree, and Myra, is the daughter of Anthony S. Greer and Debra P. Robinson Greer. She was born February 21, 1985 in Carbondale, Illinois.
Tamyra was a woman of great faith. She was baptized at Shiloh Baptist Church in Charleston, Missouri while attending Union Baptist Church in Pinhook, Missouri. Being raised up in the church gave her the foundation to maintain a powerful relationship with God throughout her lifetime. In her later years, she became a member of Gateway Church in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
She graduated in 2003 from East Prairie High School in East Prairie, Missouri. While enrolled, she participated in band, choir, student council, drama club, and was president of her class. After graduating, she attended Murray State University in Kentucky. Her incredible personality lit up on campus, earning her the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated’s Mrs. Black and Gold title.
Triece put her all and much love into everything she was a part of. She was the owner of Royally Dipped Treats and Royalty Kings and Queens Daycare. She was gifted in crafting and sewing. In her free time, she made blankets for cancer patients. She prayed over and anointed each blanket before gifting them. That’s how powerful she was. When she wasn’t working, she loved spoiling, spending time, and making memories with her children and god babies. They meant the world to her.
As a daughter, niece, sister, mother, godmother, aunt, provider, best friend, counselor, singer, entrepreneur, and much more, Tamyra captured the hearts of many in her walk of life. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
On Thursday, July 25, 2024, Tamyra entered her eternal rest while at her home in Jackson, Missouri in the presence of her beloved family. Her brother, Anthony S. Greer, Jr., her uncle, Ronald Robinson, her grandfather, Jim Robinson, Jr., and god sister, Tamyra La’triece Greer were waiting for her at the gates of heaven.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother, Debra P. Robinson of Sikeston, Missouri, her father, Anthony S. Greer of Belleville, Illinois, her children, Gavin A. Smith and Ye’va Lynnox-Rose Greer of the home, her siblings, Tamika R. Green of Jackson, Missouri, Tonea S. Greer of Irving, Texas, Antwaniqua A. Greer of Charlotte, North Carolina, Antonius P.
