Theotis Robinson was born July 24, 1964 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Lee and Lucy Carter Robinson.
He graduated from Cape Central High School in 1981. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army. When he returned home, he became self-employed as a carpenter. Working with his hands was his gift. He did things such as painting, drywall, plumbing, and mowing lawns.
Theotis was the life of the party. He loved to socialize, make new friends, and make others laugh. His personality was infectious and he loved those around him. He was a good soul and a people-person. His favorite greeting was “What goes on?”. He will be missed by all that knew him.
On Monday, January 23, 2023, Theotis was suddenly taken from our midst while in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 58 years, five months, and 30 days.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Sammie Carter, Alvin Robinson, and George Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his son, Jacob Lewis of Kansas City, Missouri, his brother, Nehemiah (Michelle) Robinson of Virginia, his sisters, Ethel Stewart, Ada (Willie) Jones, and Fannie (Herman) Ray all of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Mary (John) Wilson of Elkhart, Indiana, his favorite nephew and niece, Scott and Cassandra Ayers of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
