Thomas L. Moore, son of Edward and Florabell Moore, was born June 15, 1931 in Charleston, Missouri. He was one of 11 children. His parents, five brothers, and four sisters have preceded him in death.
Thomas attended school in Charleston and was self-employed as a carpenter.
On March 7, 1965, he married Barbara Moore. Six children were born to this union. His wife, their son, William Thomas, their daughter, Diane Winston, and a grandson, Tobias Moore have also preceded him in death.
Mr. Moore was a carpenter by trade and used his gift to help others. He was a very mild and meek and humble man who loved his family. He would do anything to help anyone.
On Saturday, September 4, 2021, God called his carpenter home at the age of 90 years, two months, and 20 days.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Harold Winston of Charleston, Missouri, Bradley (Amanda) Moore of Nashville, Tennessee, his daughters, Larneice Moore and Dorothy Moore of Charleston, Missouri, one sister, Ella Mae Moore of Charleston, Missouri, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
Friends may call Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour of 2:00 P.M. at Shiloh Baptist Church with Reverend Darren Horrell officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with the Williams Funeral Homes of Charleston in charge of arrangements.
