Tommie Lee Daniel, Jr.

Tommie Lee Daniel, Jr., 65, died Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at his home in Lilbourn, Missouri. He was born June 5, 1955 in Catron, Missouri to the late Tommie Lee Daniel, Sr. and Jettie Mae Daniel.

He accepted Christ at an early age. Tommie attended First Baptist Church of Catron where he was baptized. He served as a faithful member and usher.

Tommie  received his high school diploma in West Germany while serving in the Army. He entered active duty in 1975.  He was very proud to have served the country during the Vietnam Era.

Tommie was the "Head Cheese" and number one of the family. In his free time, he liked to ride his bike, fish, hunt, and work in his garden. He enjoyed riding his ATV (all terrain vehicle) nicknamed Bulldog.  He will never be forgotten as he was the center of attention and always the life of the party.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his daughter, Tonya Smith of Jefferson City, Missouri, three brothers, Lee (Cynthia) Daniel of Mobile, Alabama, Jimmy (Annette) Daniel of Howardville, Missouri, James (Sherrie) Daniel of Fishers, Indiana, six sisters, Shirley Nickerson of Mobile, Alabama, Sandra Daniel of Sikeston, Missouri, Brenda (Coyvell) Jackson of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Stacy Daniel of Lilbourn, Missouri, Pat Daniel of Carbondale, Illinois, Beverly (Tommy) Strong of New Madrid, Missouri, four grandchildren, Brittnie Smith, Faith Smith, and Hope McNail all of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Gregory Johnson, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri, one great grandchild, Taylor Jean McNail, Jr., and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 noon at Life Changers Restoration Ministries in Lilbourn, Missouri with Pastor Earl Grissom officiating.  Interment will follow in Simmons Park Cemetery in Catron, Missouri with full military honors.
