Tommie Lee Spencer

Mr. Tommie Lee Spencer was born December 11, 1960 in Indianola, Mississippi to the late Ira Lee Spencer and Minnie Leavy Spencer. Tommie departed this life on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at his home in Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 60 years, nine months, and 26 days.

He is preceded in death by his wife Ernestine Spencer, three brothers Eugene Spencer, Henry Spencer, and Jerry “Mississippi” Spencer.

Tommie was employed as  a coal miner at an early age working the Coal Mines during his stay in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Upon relocating to Sikeston, he was employed with Aaron’s grocery store for several years. Tommie worked at Quick Check II until his health failed.

Tommie is survived by one son, Leslie O Redd, Sr., five brothers, Jimmie Spencer and Ira Spencer of Sikeston, Missouri, Melvin (Wanda) Spencer of St. Louis, Missouri, Nelvin Spencer of Fulton, Missouri, and Robert Spencer of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; one sister Lucille Spencer of Beulah, Mississippi, one grandchild, a special niece, Debra Moore, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday, October 15, 2021 from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the Williams Funeral Chapel in Charleston, Missouri.
