Our Warrior Princess, Trinity LeRose was born on October 10, 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri to Terrell and Aniesha Williams at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. After struggling with complications due to Alobar Holoprosencephaly and hydrocephalus, Trinity passed peacefully in the arms of her mother and father, surrounded by close family on Friday, April 13, 2018. Trinity was very alert and engaging from the very beginning, even though doctors said she would not survive after birth. But, oh how Trinity proved them wrong! During her 18 months here on earth she touched many lives by her fighting spirit and will to live. Trinity was very sassy, according to her mother’s reflection, and very strong with Angela Bassett arms. Trinity loved her parents very dearly and it showed. Some doctors questioned her abilities to see or hear, but she knew when her father walked into a room because she acted “phony” with her mother (LOL). She was able to follow and track people around her and responded well to her family, friends, and therapists. She knew her brothers Terrell Jr. and Bryant very well and would laugh with delight when they played with her. Her brothers were very loving and helpful with her. Trinity fought until the very end and will forever be deeply loved by her parents, brothers, family and friends.
Trinity leaves fond memories in the hearts of her parents Terrell and Aniesha Williams; brothers Terrell Jr. and Bryant (BJ); paternal grandparents Walter and Sue Clayborn, and Tommy Williams; special aunt and uncle, Gina (Gigi) and Nathan Wood; special cousins, Natalie, Spencer, and Lorna Wood and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends. Trinity was preceded in death by maternal grandparents John and Rosie Fowlkes.
Terrell and Aniesha Williams are very grateful to the PICU team at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Dr. Katie Bucklen, Dr. Mary Hartman, First Steps therapists Jennifer Cromer, Leslie Ratliff, Mindy French, Denise Tanner, and Dana Schonhoff
