Vivian Kinder Jones, 76, resident of Sikeston, Missouri, died Tuesday, March 18, 2025 while at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born April 20, 1948 in Jackson, Missouri to the late Oliver and Lucille Haynes Kinder. She leaves behind three sisters, Dora, Ethel and Ann, as well as one brother, Ronald.
Vivian was strong in her faith. She visited various churches and found happiness in reading the bible daily.
She had a big heart. Vivian loved helping children and cooking for people in her neighborhood. Notorious for being a jokester, she could make anyone laugh with her witty personality. She enjoyed bringing joy out of others just as much as she enjoyed dressing up with her pearls. Like her favorite song, “Thank You for Being a Friend”, she never forgot it, and those who felt her love will never forget her. She will be missed dearly.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her children, Katherine Jones, Barbara Jones, Lakesheia Jones, Charles Jones, Jr., and Christopher Jones, her favorite niece, Lisa “Sweet Tooth” Wiggins who assisted with her care, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
