Ziola Clark,78. affectionately known as Ezola, died Sunday, February 7, 2021, while at her home in Sikeston, Missouri surrounded by family. She was born April 11, 1942 in Charleston, Missouri to the late John and Elnora Butler Jones.
She accepted Christ in her life and attended Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church.
On February 4, 1960, Ezola was united in marriage to Alford Clark. He also preceded her in death.
She was employed many years as a homemaker.
Ezola was a loving woman that enjoyed visiting with others. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren. The love she shared with those around her will be valued and remembered for many years to come.
In addition to her parents, John and Elnora Jones, her husband, Alford Clark, her daughter, Patricia Ann Jones, six brothers, and three sisters have preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories one daughter and son-in-law, Judith (Willie, Jr.) Glispie of Sikeston, Missouri, two brothers, Willie (Maxine) Jones of Chicago, Illinois, and Tommy Jones of Charleston, Missouri, three grandchildren, Natwiya Davis, Antowon Davis, Jr., and Kiejuandre Davis, one special granddaughter, Tasneem Ware, her close friend whom she loved like a sister, Ola Mae Owens of Charleston, Missouri, three great-grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 1:00 P.M. at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston, Missouri with Pastor Arthur Cassell officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with the Williams Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
